Prospects is a Christian voluntary organisation which values and supports people with learning disabilities so that they live their lives to the full. The organisation was founded in 1976 by David and Madeleine Potter as "A Cause for Concern" the organisation has seen remarkable growth in the last 32 years throughout the United Kingdom. Prospects provides three distinct services;

Prospects as services provider, supports people to live as independently as possible and develop a wide range of skills, our policies and activities are based on the Principle of Personal Value and we operate within a distinctive Christian ethos. http://www.prospects.org.uk/index.php/operational_prospects/

Causeway Prospects is a collection of people who share their faith and friendships together.  Most people belong to a Causeway Prospects Group, usually based in a church and meeting regularly for Bible study, worship, prayer, and fun. http://www.prospects.org.uk/index.php/causeway_prospects/

Prospects International work started in 1999. It’s objective is to work in partnership with national Christians in countries beyond the United Kingdom to support them in their mission and work with people with learning disabilities. The Charity’s desire is to see partners making real impact in their local communities.
